I think I just found my next vacation destination: the Petit Hotel Hafa in Sayulita, Mexico. The six-room hotel sits just a few blocks from the beach, and has been decorated with Mexican, Mediterranean and Moroccan influences in mind. And would you believe the rooms are all under $100/night?! I think it’s time to dust off my passport…

A while back I bookmarked a photo a friend of mine took of an amazing leather chair at a hotel he was staying at in Austin, Texas. I couldn’t figure out who made it at the time and had forgotten about it until cleaning out my bookmarks recently. But this time I searched a little harder and was able to track down the designer: Jamey Garza of Garza Design + Build. Aren’t the chairs gorgeous? I’m particularly fond of the Desert Round Lounge.

Renegade Craft Fair was in San Francisco this weekend, and a few friends and I ventured up to Fort Mason to check it out. I recognized many of the same vendors as last year but there were a handful of new ones too. I snagged a handful of business cards for gift ideas but I couldn’t resist buying a few things for myself too.
I got a beautiful leather and brass necklace from Tangleweeds. I forgot my camera (argh!) but fortunately Jeannine took some photos of her booth. The one I bought is the half moon with cream leather on the far right.
I also got a succulent planter from Planted by Chandra Abel Designs. As you can imagine, her booth was a big hit at the fair. I had to fight my way to the front of the table to grab one of those lovelies!

Swooning over the gorgeous wood cutting board/serving platters from Etsy shop Gray Works Design. A great gift idea, especially with a little personalized engraving!
So much to love about Jane Herman’s gorgeous Brooklyn apartment (she’s Gap’s Director of Concept). I’m crazy for all the white and wood – it makes the apartment so light and airy! Aren’t those built-in bookshelves and window seats great? And hello, awesome bar over the radiator!
