scenes from the weekend

I don’t know about you, but I needed an extra day to recover from the long weekend. And what a weekend it was! We kicked it off with a picnic bbq up at Tomales Bay Oyster Company with fresh oysters and champagne. Saturday was spent watching college football and attempting to convert our friends into Tar Heel fans. A lazy day at home Sunday, cleaning and other random projects. And we ended the weekend with a Labor Day bbq on our deck with good friends and good food. A recipe for chipotle sriacha buffalo wings was a bit hit, as was the fresh corn and black bean salad. A perfect end to the summer!
