scenes from the weekend

Whew, this was a long one! My parents and youngest brother were in town last week and I took them around the city, making sure to hit some of the tourist hot spots. We did an audio tour of the USS Pampanito, where I passed for under 18 as part of a family tour deal (still trying to decide if I should be flattered or offended). We played vintage arcade games at Musée Mécanique. We hiked Lombard Street and Coit Tower for some great views of the city. We drove across Golden Gate bridge and hiked through Muir Woods. We explored the Sutro Baths remains and dipped our feet in the cold Pacific Ocean. We walked through Chinatown and watched a little old lady fold fortune cookies at the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory (and got to sample some castoffs). We visited the Ferry Building. We rode a trolley (a first for me). And we ate tons and tons of great food. It was great fun, but I feel like I need a weekend to recover from my weekend!
