scenes from the weekend

stunning views from the aptly-named Buena Vista park

Hope those of you in the states enjoyed the long weekend– I know I did. The sun decided to come out (and stay out!) so we spent as much time as possible outdoors. There was a lot of walking, exploring the Mission and the Haight and Buena Vista park. And great food: sandwiches from Alamo Square cafe, homemade veggie dumplings, french toast at Starbelly, burgers at Magnolia. And a teeny bit of productivity around the apartment, putting up shelves in the bathroom and cutting/sanding/staining wood for a desk for an oddly-angled corner of our apartment. All-in-all, a pretty solid weekend.

What an amazing view! Is your hubby holding a camera in the first pic? I guess I should check Flickr for his photo ;)

Yep, that’s Nolan. He was shooting film, so it might be a few days before he gets it developed and uploaded. :)

We were visiting SF this weekend–the weather was amazing! I couldn’t stop gasping as we’d crest a hill and catch one or another amazing view. How are you finding your home?
