vintage lace dress

Anyone in the market for a short vintage wedding dress? This one would be perfect.

scenes from the weekend

Highlights from the weekend: meeting friends at a bar (before noon, mind you) to watch the USA-Ghana soccer game; fresh flowers at The Bud Stop; finding a new favorite dive bar; celebrating Pride weekend and Pink Saturday in the Castro; late-night pizza; a big bowl of fresh cherries; and a Sunday drive to Stinson Beach, where we treated ourselves to oysters and ice cream (not at the same time, that would have been gross). I’m really starting to like it here.

a lyric a day

A Lyric a Day: an everyday project by Luke Beard. Really, really fantastic stuff.

friday finds: lovely little shop

Simply lovely double-strand necklaces from lovely little shop.

hairy bikers potato crisps

I’d buy these for the name alone, but the packaging is pretty sweet too. And talk about yummy flavors! Anyone know how to get their hands on these?

Stumbled across fashion blog FrouFrouu this weekend and was blown away by Nadia’s sense of style. And the photos are just as gorgeous as her impeccably styled outfits! Click over to her blog to see more photos, cuz bigger is better.

pancake bar

Just so you know, my next party is going to be a pancake party. Love!!

scenes from the weekend

This should really be called scenes from my Sunday… I forgot to charge my camera battery and have nothing to show from exploring Cow Hollow and the Marina district on Saturday. It was a beautiful day, and there were so many boats out. I’m on a mission to make friends with some boat owners so we can take advantage of them later this summer. :) On Sunday we met some friends for a fantastic brunch at Mission Beach Cafe before walking along the Embarcadero down to the SF Giants County Fair. A great day for riding rides and fair food. More photos in my photostream.

friday finds: fine and dandy

Beautifully styled selection of vintage clothes and accessories at Fine & Dandy

marion cotillard for vogue

Marion Cotillard is as lovely as ever in this shoot for Vogue in the French countryside. She’s been one of my favorite actresses since La Vie en Rose. And even though she barely makes an appearance in the trailer, I’m looking forward to Inception. (Because honestly, I’ll watch anything Leonardo DiCaprio is in.)
