pay it forward: a giveaway

pif1

This weekend I received a lovely package from Hanna: a brooch made from vintage fabric and a vintage button, a little notebook whose cover is from an old children’s book, and a breadbag made from a vintage tea towel (along with a recipe for no-knead bread). So sweet!

This was a pay-it-forward deal, so I’m going to pick five people to receive a little gift from me, on the condition that you in turn select five people to send something to. The gifts can be small, and you don’t have to send them out immediately. And it’s okay if you don’t have a blog– you can choose friends/family/strangers, as long as you continue to pay it forward.

Sound like fun? To participate, leave a comment on this post. I’ll {randomly} select five names next Monday, September 28.

Paying it forward-awesome. I’m going to “borrow” this idea and send something sweet and sentimental to a friend who will be living in Hawaii for the next 6 mths!

I love this idea! I like sending little notes and treats to far away friends, but this would be fun since they in turn would send them out too!

This is such a cool idea. I’m going to do this in the month of November since it is the month for being grateful with Thanksgiving and all.
