dried flowers

These framed flowers from Norihiko Terayama are so so beautiful. Something about them reminds me of my grandmother (in a good way). I also really like the idea of leaning tall frames against the wall instead of hanging them, and think the corner at the foot of the bed (with the single frame and dried barley) is perfection.

these are amazing! does anyone have any idea how this would be done? the flowers look slightly pressed but not totally flat, and they aren’t pressed with wax paper which is really nice. I wonder if they are glued in somehow….

I have been learning how to dry flowers. I bet most of these flowers have been dried on a rack in the dark to retain as much color and volumne as possible.
