Alice Stevenson illustration

A few things that caught my eye from Alice Stevenson‘s portfolio this morning…

I just spent way too much time playing with Poladroid, a free desktop application (currently only available for Mac) that turns your pictures into polaroid-like images. Such fun results!!

postcard garland

Love love love this postcard garland! This would be perfect for an intimate wedding… Maybe the bride and groom corresponded via postcards while they were courting. Or possibly they collected postcards from family and friends throughout the years. Or perhaps they asked guests to RSVP on vintage postcards… Such a sweet and sentimental idea! It looks like these have been copied onto fabric or lightweight paper, but I imagine it would still look great if actual postcards were used. I’d love to incorporate this idea into a holiday party! Stay tuned…

I am so not cool enough to rock any of these headpieces from Littledoe. But Wow.

Lovely packaging for Soak fabric wash… and what a fantastic logo!

jewelry display + organizing

My jewelry collection is a jumbled mess and in desperate need of organizing. I love this idea of using little bowls and saucers to display jewelry because you can see everything at a glace and quickly find what you’re looking for. It’s practical and it looks great too! Now I just need to start collecting some lovely little bowls… anyone up for some thrift store shopping?

Friday Finds: Jill Rosenwald ceramics

The quirky patterns and muted colors on Jill Rosenwald‘s ceramic collections are simply divine! You can see her current collections here, and handmade prototypes for future collections in her Etsy shop. I just might need that ritz tray
