fruit and vegetable papyrus

These sheets of paper were handmade in Germany from cross sections of thinly sliced fruit and vegetables. The patterns and colors are amazing! The paper is a bit pricey for everyday craft projects, but I could see these as a collection of framed wall art. Or a lampshade, perhaps? See more at Hiromi Paper ($9-14 for a 6.5×8″ sheet).

{Clockwise from top left: cucumber, orange, starfruit, carrot, kiwi, eggplant}
