The husband and I are off to Tennessee for the holiday. I’m looking forward to spending a few relaxing days with my family to reflect on the things I am truly thankful for… Hope you all have a lovely Thanksgiving!

Anyone else remember that House of Pain song? Jump up jump up and get down…
Sara got her wedding pictures back this weekend, and I laughed out loud when I saw these jumping shots. Every wedding party should pose for this shot – the results are hilarious! {I’m the one with the yellow bouquet. Look at that form!}

I’m so glad it’s Friday! This weekend I’m hoping to finish a few projects I’ve been working on, and start a few new ones… the vicious cycle continues! Here are just a few of the wonderful things from blog world this week:
Jordan is offering yearly subscriptions to the Pretty Little Things club
A great overview of different printing processes from Ellie
Whitney’s husband is super talented too!
Lovely desktop wallpapers from Ez and Holly’s new project Kindred
Alyson shot the winter 08/09 collection for Vain and Vapid, and it’s amaaaazing (the collection and the photography!)

I’m loving all the vintage clothes and accessories in Ramona West‘s etsy shop. Lucky for us she just added a TON of fantastic new pieces this week!
I just spent way too much time playing with Poladroid, a free desktop application (currently only available for Mac) that turns your pictures into polaroid-like images. Such fun results!!
Love love love this postcard garland! This would be perfect for an intimate wedding… Maybe the bride and groom corresponded via postcards while they were courting. Or possibly they collected postcards from family and friends throughout the years. Or perhaps they asked guests to RSVP on vintage postcards… Such a sweet and sentimental idea! It looks like these have been copied onto fabric or lightweight paper, but I imagine it would still look great if actual postcards were used. I’d love to incorporate this idea into a holiday party! Stay tuned…
